Abstract

The economic of Sigi Regency is dominated by agriculture sector, mainly in Sidondo III Village. Agricultural Science Park Design In Sigi District. Thesis, Architecture Study Program, Architecture Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University. (Guided by Ir.H. Syarifuddin, MT.¹ and Ir.Ikandar Gani, M.Si.²). Sidondo III, Sigi Biromaru Sub-district, Sigi Regency. Based on data of superior commodities of Sigi Regency are food crops, plantations and livestock, while the value of agricultural commodities and meat are in the national market. These conditions make the government set Sigi District as one of the locations to develop the Agricultural Science Park in accordance with the direction of Nawa Cita President RI and the National Medium Term Development Plan 2014-2019. Development of Agricultural Science Park in Sigi District is planned in Sidondo Experimental Garden, in order to contribute in agriculture in developing Sigi Regency in the future. The method used in this paper is a qualitative descriptive method, with the intent to identify problems related to the title of the study. The results of the field observation study were then processed to obtain a supportive analysis in the process of preparing the architectural design report. From the results of data processing and information obtained so that the resulting design of research and tourism facilities in the field of agriculture that can meet the needs of researchers and communities who come to visit the Agricultural Science Park.
