SEBARAN KOEFISIEN GESEK ARAH MELINTANG SUNGAI PALU DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP ANGKUTAN SEDIMEN DASAR Moh. Faris Y.T. Hamid, Alifi Yunar ABSTRAK Sungai Palu membentang dari pertemuan Sungai Gumbasa dan Sungai Miu ke arah Jembatan IV Palu dengan panjang total +46.6 km terdapat adanya gejala terbentuknya sedimentasi alur sungai yang disebabkan suatu kondisi dan karakteristik sungai yang memiliki dasar sungai dengan material alluvial. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menentukan sebaran koefisien gesek arah melintang Sungai Palu dan pengaruhnya terhadap angkutan sedimen dasar dengan menghitung koefisien gesek menggunakan Persamaan Karim dalam Andharia BR dan Samtani BK (2011) yang merupakan turunan rumus dari Persamaan Manning. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa nilai koefisien gesek rata-rata berdasarkan nilai EGL dari hulu ke hilir Sungai Palu adalah 0.6502, sedangkan nilai angkutan sedimen dasar rata-rata yang didapatkan dengan alat penangkap sedimen adalah sebesar 0.000009594 kg/det. Dari hasil tersebut didapatkan bahwa pengaruh koefisien gesek terhadap angkutan sedimen dasar adalah koefisien gesek berbanding terbalik yang artinya semakin besar nilai koefisien geseknya maka semakin kecil nilai angkutan sedimen dasarnya. Hamid, Alifi Yunar ABSTRACT The Palu River stretches from the confluence of the Gumbasa River and the Miu River toward Bridge IV Palu with a total length of +46.6 km. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of friction coefficients across the Palu River and their effect on the basic sediment transport by calculating the coefficient of friction using the Karim Equation in Andharia BR and Samtani BK (2011) which is a derivative of the formula from the Manning Equation. The results of the analysis show that the average value of the coefficient of friction based on the EGL value from upstream to downstream of the Palu River is 0.6502, while the average base sediment transport value obtained with sediment capture devices is 0.000009594 kg / sec. From these results it was found that the effect of the coefficient of friction on basic sediment transport is the coefficient of friction that is inversely proportional to the greater the value of the coefficient of friction, the smaller the value of basic sediment transport.
