Abstract

Information systems are becoming increasingly needed in the current 5.0 industrial revolution, information systems can simplify all activities of everyone to speed up a job in an agency or agency, but information systems must be supported by good data security, which is limited from some access rights and also in need of a data security algorithm, data security is becoming increasingly needed because of the many data hacks that often occur via the internet. In cases where a national narcotics agency refers to the confidentiality of inpatients who are rehabilitated at the national narcotics agency, which must be sufficient to exchange data on medical records of rehab patients. To maintain the confidentiality and integrity of data in exchanging data, a data security information system is needed. This research uses the RSA algorithm to secure the exchange of medical records. The RSA algorithm is a symmetric algorithm that uses two keys, namely the private key and the public key. The security of the RSA algorithm lies in the difficulty of factoring large numbers into prime factors. In this study, the encryption and decryption of data files with the extension docx. The time it takes for the system to process encryption and decryption and open it using the p, q, e, d, and n factor values obtained in the system's random results can affect the encryption time and the combination of the key value of d and the key value of n that is generated. use to perform encryption and decryption can affect the length of time the encryption and decryption process in a file.
