RAHMAT DI KOTA PALU

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi rawan kecelakaan (black spot)
serta menganalisis faktor penyebab dan upaya penanganannya pada ruas Jalan Basuki Rahmat
di Kota Palu. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan
pengumpulan data primer melalui survei lapangan dan data sekunder dari Satlantas Polres
Palu. Analisis dilakukan dengan menilai bobot kecelakaan berdasarkan tingkat fatalitas
korban, yang diklasifikasikan menjadi meninggal dunia (MD), luka berat (LB), dan luka
ringan (LR).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama periode 2022–2025 terjadi 14 kasus
kecelakaan lalu lintas di ruas Jalan Basuki Rahmat. Jenis kecelakaan yang dominan adalah
tabrakan di persimpangan sebesar 50%, tabrakan samping sebesar 33%, dan tabrakan pejalan
kaki sebesar 17%.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to identify accident-prone areas (black spots) and analyze the
contributing factors and mitigation efforts on Jalan Basuki Rahmat in Palu City. The research
employed a descriptive quantitative approach using primary data from field surveys and
secondary data from the Palu City Traffic Police (Satlantas Polres Palu). Accident severity was
analyzed based on fatality weights classified into fatalities (MD), serious injuries (LB), and
minor injuries (LR).
The results indicate that between 2022 and 2025, there were 14 traffic accidents along
Jalan Basuki Rahmat. The dominant accident types were intersection collisions (50%), side
collisions (33%), and pedestrian accidents (17%). The main causes of accidents were driver
negligence, followed by road conditions, environmental factors, and vehicle conditions. Based
on the analysis, the segment between Lorong Nusantara and Lorong Batu Bata Indah was
identified as the main black spot
