MENGEKSPLOR PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG TEKNIK EFEKTIF DALAM MEMPELAJARI KOSAKATA DI KELAS SEBELAS SMK NEGERI 1 TAOPA

This skripsi is entitled Exploring Students’ Perceptions of Effective Techniques in Learning Vocabulary at the Eleventh Grade of SMK Negeri 1 Taopa, Skripsi, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Department of Language and Art Education, English Language Education Study Program, Tadulako University, under the supervision of Budi (1) and Andi Patmasari (2).
This research aims to explore students’ perceptions of effective techniques in learning vocabulary at the eleventh grade of SMK Negeri 1 Taopa. The participants of this study consisted of 29 students who completed the questionnaire and 5 students who were selected for interviews. The data were collected through a questionnaire consisting 20 statements and semi-structured interviews consisting of 6 questions. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. This finding revealed that students used a variety of vocabulary learning techniques, including memory techniques, cognitive techniques, social and communication techniques, game-based learning, and technology-based learning. Among this, Social and communication techniques and game-based learning were identified as the most effective techniques.
