Abstract

Sigi Regency has a BNPB Disaster Risk Index of 189 (moderate). One of the sub-
districts affected is Sigi Kota, which experiences landslides and floods.

Geodynamic processes cause geological events to recur over a certain period of
time, making it necessary to take steps to reduce disaster risk in Sigi Kota
Subdistrict. Law No. 24 of 2007 on disaster management explains that one of the
efforts to reduce disaster risk is through spatial planning. This study was conducted
to determine the existing environmental geological conditions in Sigi Kota
Subdistrict, Sigi Regency, and to assess the relative values of these environmental
geological parameters. The analysis was performed using the Analytical Hierarchy
Process (AHP) and overlay methods. Consequently, this research is valuable for
obtaining information on environmental geological units, physical characteristics,
geological resources, and geological constraints. The integration of these
parameters will then provide an overview of the extent of spatial patterns and
locations, by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which can
serve as a reference for spatial planning. Thus, the results of this study can serve as
a basis for recommendations or the formulation of development policies for
sustainable spatial planning in the Sigi Kota Subdistrict.
