ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan agregat dari Quarry Sungai
Buluri, Palu, sebagai material penyusun campuran Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing
Course (HRS-WC) berdasarkan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga Tahun 2025,
Aspal Penetrasi 60/70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agregat yang
digunakan memenuhi persyaratan teknis sebagai bahan penyusun campuran HRS
WC. Berdasarkan analisis Marshall diperoleh Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO)
sebesar 8,0?ngan nilai stabilitas 6.536,68 kg, flow 3,65 mm, Marshall Quotient
(MQ) 1.826,23 kg/mm, Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA) 18,20%, Void Filled with
Asphalt (VFA) 72,61%, dan Void in Mix (VIM) 4,99%. Pada kadar aspal optimum
tersebut, komposisi campuran terdiri atas agregat kasar 50,6%, agregat halus
36,8%, filler 4,6%, dan aspal 8,0%. Seluruh parameter Marshall memenuhi
persyaratan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga Tahun 2025, sehingga agregat Quarry
Sungai Buluri, Palu, layak dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai material penyusun
campuran HRS-WC untuk lapis aus perkerasan jalan.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the feasibility of aggregates from Sungai Buluri Quarry,
Palu, as a constituent material of Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing Course (HRS-WC)
mixture based on the 2025 General Bina Marga Specifications, determine the
Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC), and evaluate the Marshall characteristics and
performance of the resulting mixture. The study was conducted experimentally in
xviii
the laboratory using Sungai Buluri Quarry aggregates and 60/70 Penetration
Asphalt. The results showed that the aggregates used met the technical
requirements as constituent materials of the HRS-WC mixture. Based on the
Marshall analysis, the Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) was 8.0% with a stability
value of 6,536.68 kg, flow 3.65 mm, Marshall Quotient (MQ) 1,826.23 kg/mm, Void
in Mineral Aggregate (VMA) 18.20%, Void Filled with Asphalt (VFA) 72.61%, and
Void in Mix (VIM) 4.99%. At this optimum asphalt content, the mixture composition
consists of 50.6% coarse aggregate, 36.8% fine aggregate, 4.6% filler, and 8.0%
asphalt. All Marshall parameters meet the requirements of the 2025 General Bina
Marga Specifications, so the aggregate from the Sungai Buluri Quarry, Palu, is
suitable and can be recommended as a constituent material of the HRS-WC mixture
for road pavement wearing courses.
