This study examines bullying in the school environment from a criminal law perspective, using a case study in Palu. The study aims to describe bullying in schools within the jurisdiction of the Palu Police Department (Polresta Palu) and to analyze the enforcement of criminal law against perpetrators of bullying in school environments within the same jurisdiction. This study employed an empirical juridical method with a field-based approach involving interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that bullying in schools within the jurisdiction of the Palu Police Department continues to occur and is predominantly verbal, although some cases have escalated into physical bullying. The perpetrators were generally male students with an average age of 14 years. Law enforcement against perpetrators prioritizes resolution through diversion and restorative justice in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, while criminal proceedings are pursued in cases resulting in serious consequences. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles at both the school and police levels.
