Pengaruh Kegiatan Tari Tradisional Mokambu Dalam Mengembangkan Kemampuan Sosial Anak Kelompok B Di Tk Cendekia Tadulako

This study aims to determine the effect of Mokambu traditional dance activities on enhancing cooperation, communication, and discipline among children aged 5–6 yearsat Cendekia Tadulako Kindergarten, Palu. The method employed is quantitative research utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 11 female children as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through a paired-samples t-test.The results demonstrate a significant improvement in children's social skills after participating in the dance activities. The mean social skills score increased by 5.00, rising from 17.09 in the pretest to 22.09 in the posttest. Hypothesis testing revealed a t-value of 6.359 with a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05), confirming that H0is rejected and H1is accepted. The most substantial increase occurred in theDevelopingas Expectedcategory, which surged from 9.09% to 54.55%. These findings affirm that the Mokambu traditionaldance serves as an effective educational medium to stimulate direct interaction, break group exclusivity, and support social-emotional growth. This study suggests integrating local cultural activities into the early childhood curriculum to strengthen social development.
