PENGARUH MEDIA WORDWALL TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV SD INPRES 8 MAMBORO

This study aimed to determine the effect of using Wordwall media on students’
learning interest and learning outcomes in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject
among fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 8 Mamboro. The study employed a quantitative
approach using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design.
The research sample consisted of 51 students, including 25 students from Class IVA as the
experimental group and 26 students from Class IVB as the control group. Data were
collected through a learning interest questionnaire, achievement tests, and documentation.
The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Multivariate Analysis
of Variance (MANOVA). The results revealed a significant difference between the
experimental and control groups, with a Wilks’ Lambda value of 0.412, F(2,37) = 26.873,
and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Further analysis indicated that the use of
Wordwall media had a significant effect on students’ learning interest (p = 0.000) and
learning outcomes (p = 0.000). Therefore, Wordwall media can be considered an effective
instructional tool for improving both learning interest and learning outcomes in the IPAS
subject among fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 8 Mamboro.
