ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN PROSPEK PENGEMBANGAN USAHA MADU TRIGONA (STUDI KASUS USAHA MADU SOFI DI DESA DOLAGO KECAMATAN PARIGI SELATAN)

Trigona honey production is a microenterprise with development potential because
it produces a product with economic value. Madu Sofi, a Trigona honey business
located in Dolago Village, South Parigi District, has been operating since 2022.
However, its income and development prospects have not been clearly identified.
This study aims to analyze the income and development prospects of the Madu Sofi
Trigona honey business in Dolago Village, South Parigi District. The study
employed a case study method using quantitative and qualitative descriptive
approaches. Income analysis was conducted by calculating total revenue, total
costs, income, Break-Even Point (BEP), and Revenue-Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio), while
development prospects were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results showed
that during three harvests in June 2026, the business produced 21 bottles of honey,
each containing 250 ml, all of which were sold. Total revenue amounted to IDR
2,100,000, total costs were IDR 617,028, and income reached IDR 1,482,972. The
production BEP was 6.17 bottles, the price BEP was IDR 29,382 per bottle, and
the R/C Ratio was 3.40. The SWOT analysis indicated that the business has fairly
good development prospects, supported by pure honey products, the distinctive
characteristics of Trigona honey, and the availability of natural forage sources.
However, business development still requires improvements in promotion,
production capacity, equipment, and market access. This study is limited to a single
business and an observation period covering June 2026; therefore, the findings
cannot yet represent the overall conditions of Trigona honey businesses.
