PENGEMBANGAN VIDIO ANIMASI TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL ANAK DI KELOMPOK B2 TK NEGERI PEMBINA MELATI TONDO

The development of social aspects in early childhood is one of the important foundations in
building children’s ability to interact, cooperate, and take responsibility in daily life. Based
on observations conducted at Pembina Melati Tondo Public Kindergarten, it was found that
some children still showed limitations in social behavior, such as a lack of cooperation skills,
unfamiliarity with helping one another, and low responsibility during learning activities. This
study aims to develop an animated video as a learning medium that can improve children’s
social aspects, especially in terms of cooperation, helping each other, and responsibility. The
method used in this study was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model,
which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and
evaluation. Data collection techniques included expert validation to determine the feasibility
of the media and observations of children’s social development during the learning process.
The results showed that the animated video obtained a material expert validation score of
85%, categorized as very feasible, and a media expert validation score of 94%, also
categorized as very feasible. In addition, the results of children’s social development
indicated that 11 children (70%) were in the Very Well Developed (BSB) category, 4 children
(25%) were in the Developed as Expected (BSH) category, 1 child (5%) was in the Beginning
to Develop (MB) category, and no children were in the Not Yet Developed (BB) category.
Therefore, the animated video media was considered effective and appropriate for
supporting the development of children’s social aspects.
