The topic of this study is how Boy Candra's novel "Origami Hati" portrays the main character's personality traits. This research aims to discover the main character's personality traits in Boy Candra's novel "Origami Hati." Jakob Sumardjo's Theory was utilized to examine the main character's personality traits, encompassing various dimensions, including the character's actions, words, physical description, thoughts, and the author's direct explanation. The qualitative descriptive method was applied in this research. The data collection techniques entailed a thorough and repeated examination of the "Origami Hati" novel, which serves as the primary subject of investigation. The researcher takes note of sections on the characterization of the main protagonist and subsequently analyses the identified character qualities utilizing Jakob Sumardjo's Theory. According to the findings of this study, the main character in Boy Candra's novel "Origami Hati" is devoted, dependent, stubborn, gorgeous, and having problems moving on.
