Analisis Faktor Pemilihan Lokasi Usaha Pedagang Sektor Informal Di Jalan Teuku Umar, Kota Palu

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pola Penyebaran Pedagang Sektor
Informal yang ada di Jalan Teuku Umar, (2) faktor apa yang paling dominan
mempengaruhi pemilihan lokasi usaha sektor informal di Jalan Teuku Umar. Data
dikumpulkan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, survei serta wawancara kemudian
dianalisis menggunakan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola
sebaran terjadi secara memanjang atau linier agglomeration. Faktor-faktor yg
mempengaruhi pemilihan lokasi usaha sektor informal adalah aksesibilitas, visibilitas,
lalu lintas, tempat parkir, ekspansi, lingkungan, persaingan, peraturan pemerintah,
fasilitas dan biaya. Setelah melakukan analisis faktor yang bertujuan mereduksi 10
variabel tersebut dihasilkan 3 faktor yang mewakili semua faktor tersebut. Hingga
akhirnya menghasilkan 3 faktor yg paling dominan mempengaruhi pemilihan lokasi
usaha sektor informal di jalan Teuku Umar, Kota Palu ialah faktor tempat parkir
sebesar 35,151%. Disusul oleh faktor akses memiliki pengaruh sebesar 16,705%.
Sedangkan, yang terakhir yaitu faktor fasilitas merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi
paling sedikit sebesar 14.699%.
This study aims to determine (1) the distribution pattern of informal sector traders on
Jalan Teuku Umar, (2) what factors are most dominant in influencing the selection of
informal sector business locations on Jalan Teuku Umar. Data was collected using
documentation, survey and interview methods and then analyzed using factor analysis.
The results showed that the distribution pattern occurs lengthwise or linear
agglomeration. Factors influencing the selection of informal sector business locations
are accessibility, visibility, traffic, parking, expansion, environment, competition,
government regulations, facilities and costs. After conducting a factor analysis aimed
at reducing the 10 variables, 3 factors were produced that represented all these factors.
Finally, the 3 most dominant factors influencing the selection of informal sector
business locations on Teuku Umar Street, Palu City are the parking lot factor of
35.151%. Followed by the access factor has an influence of 16.705%. Meanwhile, the
last one, namely the facility factor, is the factor that affects the least by 14.699%.
