ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN POSO DISTRICT

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, population growth and wages on employment opportunities in Poso Regency in 2011-2020. The research method used is the explanatory method. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and literature study. And by using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Method.
The research results show that; (1) The economic growth variable has a positive and significant effect on the demand for labor. (2) The population growth variable has a positive and significant effect on the demand for labor. (3) The wage variable has a negative and significant effect on the demand for labor.
Partially the variables of economic growth, population growth and wages affect the demand for labor. Simultaneously, the variables of economic growth and population growth have a positive and significant effect on the demand for labor, while the wage variable has a negative and significant effect on the demand for labor.
