Analisis Kesalahan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Dalam Menyusun Klausa Kata Sifat

This research concerns with the errors made by the students of English
Education Study Program at Tadulako University in forming adjective clause.
Therefore, the purposes of this research were to categorize the kinds of errors and
to identify the most common errors made by the students while using an adjective
clause. Data for this research were gathered through the analysis of written texts
using a descriptive qualitative methodology. The focus of this research was the
errors in using relative pronouns who, whom, which, and whose that were examined
using Dulay's Surface Strategy Taxonomy. The participants of this research were
45 students chosen by using convenience sampling. The results showed that the
most common error made by the students was misordering, followed by addition,
misformation, and omission respectively.
