ANALISIS KESTABILAN LERENG DAN PENANGANANNYA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SLOPE MASS RATING (SMR) DAERAH RUAS JALAN TAWAELI-TOBOLI

Tawaeli-Toboli road section is one of the road sections that often experience landslides. The condition of the roads at certain points that have not been improved, and moreover the community, in general, do not know anywhere that is prone to landslides. In determining the stability of slopes on Tawaeli-Toboli road, calculations are performed to obtain the value of rock mass quality, level mass and landslides type of slopes using the Rock Mass Rating method (Bieniawski, 1989) Slope Mass Rating (Romana, 1985) and Stereography (Dips Program V5). The research location was 11 observation station points starting at km 45 to km 56. The result of data analysis using the SMR method shows that the slopes at the research location have moderate and bad classes. The result of the stereographic analysis shows that the slopes at the research site have the potential of wedge slides and fields. The slope stability analysis result shows that almost all slopes in the research area have partially stable conditions, except at observation station 8 which has poor slope conditions.
