Analisis Ketersediaan Tenaga Ahli Konstruksi Pada Kontraktor Di Kota Palu

In Palu, Central Sulawesi the process of infrastructure development continues. With the development
means that it requires human resources, in this case, namely Construction Experts. A Construction Expert
is an expert qualified to plan, implement and supervise construction work who has a certificate of
expertise in accordance with applicable laws. The purpose of this research are: 1) To Analyze the
Availability of Construction Experts in Palu for the last 3 years 2) To Know How to Overcome the
Shortage of Construction Expert Availability. The research methodology used is Descriptive Statistics,
the research process was carried out by surveys and interviews with 21 contractors in Palu. Based on the
research results obtained: 1) The number of certified experts is 64 people, while the need for experts is
134 people. These results mean that the availability of experts meets 47.77% of needs. These results show
that Palu City still lacks construction experts. 2) To overcome the shortage of Experts, this can be done by
providing training to Workers, Certifying Experts and conducting outreach to Universities in Palu City
which have Engineering Faculties.
