Analisis Kontras Digital Radiography Dengan Menggunakan ImageJ

Research on digital radiography contrast analysis using ImageJ has been conducted at RSUD Madani Palu. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of radiographic images on digital radiography by analyzing using ImageJ. In this study, aluminium coins were used as objects to show the different degrees of gray on radiography with a focus film distance (FFD) of 100 cm and an irradiation area of ??26 x 22 cm2. The irradiation conditions were given with the varied exposure factors of tube voltages(60 kVp, 65 kVp, 70 kVp and 75 kVp)and timed currents of (16 mAs, 20 mAs and 25 mAs). The results showed the higher the voltage (kVp), the contrast value and SNR tended to decrease and vice versa the contrast value and SNR tended to increase in the use of higher current currents. Optimal image quality has a high signal to noise ratio (SNR) and contrast values ??at a voltage of 60 kVp and a current and irradiation time of 20 mAs.
