The research questions are as follows 1) What religious values does Asrul Sani's
Poetry Collection contain?; 2) What moral values are reflected in Asrul Sani's
Poetry Collection? This research aimed to identify 1) religious values that Asrul
Sani's Poetry Collection contains and 2) moral values in Asrul Sani's collection of
works. It was qualitative research that employed the descriptive method
with reading, note-taking, library, and documentation techniques. This research
assesses data in four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and
conclusion. This research discovered three types of religious values: 1) aqidah?based religious values, 2) moral-based religious values, and 3) worship-based
religious values. This research revealed three moral values found in Asrul Sani's
poetry collection 1) moral values contained in human-to-human relationships, 2)
moral values contained in human-to-human relationships, and 3) moral values
contained in human-to-God relationships.
