Analisis Perubahan Tingkat Kerapatan Vegetasi Kawasan Hutan Menggunakan Citra Landsat 8 Di Kecamatan Parigi Selatan Kabupaten Parigi Moutong

Vegetation or plant community is one of the biotic components that occupy certain habitats such as forests, grasslands, and shrubs. Forest and Forest Area are an ecosystem unit in the form of a stretch of land containing biological natural resources which are dominated by trees in their natural environment. Research on changes in the level of vegetation density has been carried out in the forest area of ??South Parigi District for 3 months, from November to January 2022 using the Overlay method from several data to determine changes in the level of vegetation density in the forest area of ??South Parigi District. Based on the results of research on changes in the level of vegetation density using the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) method in the Forest Area of ??South Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency in 2015 and 2020 it can be concluded that: The dense vegetation class is the highest change, which is 384.95 ha, then The second largest change is the medium vegetation class of 309.38 ha, and the lowest change of vegetation density is the rare class of 75.57 ha with a total change area of ??769.90 ha.
