Soil fertility is one of the determinants of stability and increased agricultural production. This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility on cocoa plantations in Watatu Village, South Banawa District. Watatu Village is one of the villages in Donggala Regency and is the capital of South Banawa District. This research was conducted on a cocoa plantation in Watatu Village, South Banawa District, Donggala Regency. This study used a survey method to determine the soil sampling point by purposive sampling on cocoa plantations. Soil sampling was carried out in the field and soil analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of Land Resource Analysis, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. This research took place from December 2019 to March 2020. Based on the results of surveys and laboratory analysis of soil fertility on land use on cocoa plants in Watatu Village, South Banawa District, Donggala Regency, it can be concluded that the soil fertility status in each SPL is low.
