Korma H. Dg Makelo (A 121 18 179). “Analysis of Teacher Questioning Strategy During EFL Class Interaction at SMA negeri 1 bokan kepulauan”. Skripsi. English Education Study Program, Language and Arts Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Mukrim and Maf’Ulah.

This study aims to determine the questioning strategy used by the English teacher and when the English teacher used the questioning strategy during EFL class interaction at SMAN 1 Bokan Kepulauan. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected by using observation sheets and interviews . The data was taken from the English teacher at SMAN 1 Bokan Kepulauan to find out what questioning strategy used and when the English teacher uses the questioning strategy during class interaction. The results of this study indicate that the teacher uses a questioning strategy using 5W1H and procedural questions. The English teacher actively uses questioning strategies in class interaction in which she asks questions to check students' understanding of the previous material, to attract students' attention, to support students to contribute in class and also to motivate students to learn. The English teacher uses questioning strategies at the beginning of learning, in the middle of learning and at the end of learning.
