APLIKASI PUPUK GUANO BURUNG WALET TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAYAM MERAH (Amaranthus Tricolor L)

Guano fertilizer is an organic fertilizer obtained from the droppings of wild birds (swallows) and bats
that stick to cave walls. Guano that is in the soil network for a long time can increase soil productivity and provide nutrients for plants longer than artificial chemical fertilizers. This study aims to obtain the best dosage of guano fertilizer in increasing the growth and yield of cucumber plants. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications so that there were 20 experimental units namely: P1 = Swallow Guano Fertilizer 0 ml/liter water, P2 = Swallow Guano
Fertilizer 3 ml/liter of water, P3 = Swallow Guano Fertilizer 4 ml/liter of water, P4 = Swallow Guano
Fertilizer 5 ml/liter of water, for treatments that have an effect will be continued with a BNT test at 5% level. The results obtained were the concentration of guano swallow fertilizer 5 ml/l (P4) was the best concentration on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight and plant dry weight while the root dry weight was the concentration of guano swallow fertilizer 4 ml/l (P3) .
