ABSTRAK
Negara Indonesia disebut sebagai negara mega geodiversity mengingat besarnya kekayaan geologi yang kita miliki. Akan tetapi, kenyataan menunjukan bahwa kekayaan geologi tersebut belum mampu tergarap secara optimal hingga saat ini. Kekayaan geologi kita mayoritas masih dieksploitasi untuk kegiatan pertambangan serta sebagai bahan baku pendukung dalam industri manufaktur. Pariwisata diharapkan mampu menjadi alternatif solusi pemanfaatan potensi geologi secara ekonomis yang sedikit berbeda dari pemanfaatan aset-aset geologi sebelumnya. Geowisata merupakan salah satu bentuk wisata alam yang secara spesifik fokus terhadap aspek panorama dan geologi. Geowisata adalah wisata berkelanjutan dengan fokus utama pada fitur geologi dengan cara menumbuhkan pemahaman lingkungan dan budaya, apresiasi, konservasi dan bermanfaat secara local. Produk geowisata melindungi, menghubungkan dan mempromosikan geoheritage dan membantu membangun kerjasama antar komunitas. Salah satu keunikan geologi di pulau Sulawesi Tengah khususnya pada mendala timur terdapat suatu pulau yang terbentuk akibat proses vulkanik yang dikenal dengan nama Pulau Una – Una. Gunung Colo, Gunung Sakora dan Gunung Ambu yang terdapat di Pulau Una-Una memiliki potensi yang sangat besar diajukan sebagai geowisata di Pulau Una-Una. Dengan melihat geosite ini memiliki masing-masing keunikan yang sama berupa manivestasi panas bumi berupa fumarol, streaming ground, dan kawah. Terdapat 3 kawah Gunung Colo tempat keluarnya magma, gas dan uap panas masing-masing menghasilkan endapan sulfur atau belerang. Belum terpenuhinya fasiltas di Pulau Una-Una khususnya sektor jalan dan pusat informasi terkait objek-objek wisata yang ada di Pulau Una-Una. Upaya pengembangan fasilitas dan edukasi di sektor pariwisata sangat dibutuhkan agar dapat terpenuhinya kepuasan wisatawan dan diharapkan dapat mengangkat perekonomian warga Pulau Una-Una lewat sektor pariwisata dan sifatnya berkelanjutan.

ABSTRACT

The country of Indonesia is called a mega geodiversity country considering the large geological wealth that we have. However, the reality shows that the geological wealth has not been able to be exploited optimally until now. The majority of our geological wealth is still being exploited for mining activities as well as supporting raw materials in the manufacturing industry. Tourism is expected to be an alternative solution for exploiting geological potential economically which is slightly different from the utilization of previous geological assets. Geotourism is a form of natural tourism that specifically focuses on panoramic and geological aspects. Geotourism is sustainable tourism with a primary focus on geological features by fostering environmental and cultural understanding, appreciation, conservation and benefit locally. Geotourism products protect, connect and promote geoheritage and help build collaboration between communities. One of the unique geological features on the island of Central Sulawesi, especially in the eastern part of the island, is an island formed by volcanic processes known as Una – Una Island. Mount Colo, Mount Sakora and Mount Ambu located on Una-Una Island have enormous potential proposed as geotourism on Una-Una Island. By looking at these geosites, each of them has the same uniqueness in the form of geothermal manifestations in the form of fumaroles, streaming ground, and craters. There are 3 craters of Mount Colo where magma, gas and hot steam each produce sulfur or sulfur deposits. The unfulfilled facilities on Una-Una Island, especially the road sector and information centers related to tourist objects on Una-Una Island. Efforts to develop facilities and education in the tourism sector are urgently needed in order to fulfill tourist satisfaction and are expected to lift the economy of the residents of Una-Una Island through the tourism sector and are sustainable.
