BIOMASSA SERASAH DI BAWAH TEGAKAN JATI (Tectona Grandis Linn.F) DI DESA LIMBORO KECAMATAN BANAWA TENGAH KABUPATEN DONGGALA

The objective of the study is to estimate the litter biomass under teak stands in Limboro, Subditrict
Banawa Tengah, Regency Donggala.Three months of research, October to December 2023, were
spent on the project. In Limboro Village, two age groups—20 and 23 years old—are used for the
Tectona grandis Linn.F sample sampling procedure. This research is carried out using a survey to
identify the research location, which is the Tectona grandis linn.F. Purposive sampling is used to
estabilsh the plot at the research site. Samples of the rough and fine litter are taken there, and the y
are then taken to the laboratory for analysis. The amount of biomass in the plot at the research
location is created by creating a single, large plot that is 30 m by 5 m in size, which is then divided
into 3 plots with the dimensions of 10mx 5m,then the three plots are made respectively – 2 sub-plots
with a size of 0.5m x 0.5m so that there are a total of 6 sub - plots. The results of the research showed
that biomass in 20 years of age Tectona grandins Linn.F was 13.7 tons/ha. Biomass in 20-year-olds
was 9.14 tonnes/ha, and biomass of 20 years old was 4.56 tonnes/h. While biomass was 17.67 tons/h
in 23 years of life.
