Biomassa Seresah Dibawah Tegakan Karet (hevea Brasiliensis Muell. Arg) Di Desa Polando Jaya Kecamatan Rio Pakava Kabupaten Donggala

This study aims to determine the biomass of litter in rubber stands (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.Arg) in
Polando Jaya Village, Rio Pakava District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. The method used in
this research is purposive sampling or deliberate sampling. Sampling was carried out at nine points
where three points were located at the peak, 3 points were located at the ridge and the other three points
were located in the valley. Sampling at each point uses a plot measuring 0.5m x 0.5m. From each plot
litter was taken to weigh the total wet weight, wet weight of sub-samples and dry weight of sub-samples.
The results of the research show that the highest litter biomass was obtained in the valley, reaching an
average of 2.63 tons/ha, followed by the peak with an average biomass of 1.52 tons/ha, while the back
section had an average of 1.14 tons/ha, resulting in a total biomass of 4.29 tonnes/ha. From these result,
