KINERJA RUAS JALAN TOWUA KOTA PALU”

ABSTRAK
Jalan Towua menjadi pilihan pengendara yang menginginkan jalan bebas hambatan seperti
traffic light. Jalan ini terhubung dengan jalan provinsi seperti jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai di sebelah Barat
dan Karanjalembah di arah Timur Aktivitas keluar masuk para siswa dan pengajar dari sekolah ke ruas
jalan Towua memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja ruas jalan Towua. Seperti terjadinya hambatan
samping yang diakibatkan pengendara yang mau menjemput atau mengantar yang berhenti di depan
sekolah dan penurunan kecepatan pengendara yang terjadi akibat aktivitas keluar masuk sekolah.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas sekolah kristen bala keselamatan terhadap
kinerja ruas jalan towua kota palu.Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan
Indonesia MKJI 1997. Jenis Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian Kuantitatif, hal tersebut
dikarenakan data yang diperoleh secara keseluruhan yaitu berupa data primer yang dapat di ukur dan
dihitung. Pada penelitian ini, data kuantitatif meliputi data geometrik jalan, Volume lalu lintas,
kecepatan kendaraan, hambatan samping, dan kinerja jalan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Kinerja ruas
jalan Towua hingga 5 tahun kedepan (tahun 2028) yaitu DS = 0.65 dengan volume 2052 smp/jam dan
tingkat pelayanan C dan DS = 0.66 dengan volume 2105 smp/jam dengan tingkat pelayanan saat ini
yaitu C untuk akibat aktivitas sekolah. DS = 0.60 dengan volume 1951 smp/jam dan tingkat pelayanan
B dan DS = 0.64 dengan volume 2074 smp/jam dengan tingkat pelayanan saat ini yaitu C untuk tanpa
aktivitas sekolah.

ABSTRACT
Towua Road is the choice of motorists who want a freeway like a traffic light. This road is
connected to provincial roads such as I Gusti Ngurah Rai road to the west and Karanjalembah to the
east. The activity of students and teachers going in and out of schools to the Towua road section has an
influence on the performance of the Towua road section. Such as the occurrence of side obstacles caused
by drivers who want to pick up or drop off those who stop in front of the school and a decrease in
motorist speed that occurs due to activities going in and out of the school. The aim of this research is to
determine the influence of the activities of the Salvation Army Christian School on the performance of
the Towua road in Palu City.The analysis was carried out using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual
MKJI 1997. This type of research is included in Quantitative research, this is because the data obtained
as a whole is in the form of primary data that can be measured and calculated. In this research,
quantitative data includes road geometric data, traffic volume, vehicle speed, side obstacles and road
performance.Based on the results of the Towua road performance analysis for the next 5 years (2028),
namely DS = 0.65 with a volume of 2052 pcu/hour and a service level of C and DS = 0.66 with a volume
of 2105 pcu/hour with the current service level of C for the impact of school activities . DS = 0.60 with
a volume of 1951 pcu/hour and service level B and DS = 0.64 with a volume of 2074 pcu/hour with the
current service level being C for no school activities.
