Dinamika Populasi Sapi Potong Di Kecamatan Lage Kabupaten Poso

This study aims to analyze "The Dynamics of Beef Cattle Population in Lage District, Poso Regency", and was carried out for 1 month, namely from July to August 2021. Research data were obtained from 60 respondents who raised beef cattle in six villages from sixteen villages in Lage District. Poso Regency is in the village of Sintuwulemba, Watuawu village, Tampemadoro village, Rato'ombu village, Pandiri village and Tambaro village. The research method used is a survey method with the determination of the sample based on purposive sampling. The variables calculated in this study are birth rates, purchase rates, assistance rates, sales figures, mortality rates, withholding rates and Natural Increase (NI). The results showed that there were 405 beef cattle in Lage District, Poso Regency. The population dynamics consist of a birth rate of 70.32%, purchasing rate of 5.18%, assistance rate of 0.98%, death rate of 2.22%, withholding rate of 3.95%, sales rate of 5.67%, and Natural Increase is 68.1%.
