Efectivitas Lagu-lagu Youtube Vidio Dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Pengucapan Siswa Kelas Sebelas Di SMK Negeri 2 Palu

Irmayanti (A121 20 191) Tesis ini berjudul “Efektifitas Lagu-Lagu Video
YouTube dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Pengucapan Siswa Kelas Sebelas di
SMK Negeri 2 Palu”. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Jurusan
Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas
Tadulako, di bawah bimbingan Mukrim, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D dan Wahyudin.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan bahwa penggunaan Lagu
Video YouTube efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pengucapan siswa
kelas sebelas di SMK Negeri 2 Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian
eksperimen semu. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas XI BDP 1 (Bisnis
Daring Pemasaran) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 25 siswa kelas XI BDP 2
(Bisnis Daring Pemasaran) sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis data
menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest.
Nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 45.2 sedangkan kelas kontrol
adalah 46.8 Setelah diberikan perlakuan, nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada
posttest adalah 85.4 dan kelas kontrol adalah 50.0. Dengan menerapkan tingkat
signifikansi 0,05, peneliti menemukan bahwa nilai thitung (15.1) lebih tinggi
dibandingkan dengan ttabel (1,67). Artinya, penggunaan lagu dari video youtube
efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pengucapan siswa kelas sebelas di
SMK Negeri 2

Irmayanti (A121 20 191). This thesis is entitled “The Effectiveness of Songs of YouTube Videos in Improving Pronunciation Skill of the Grade Eleventh Students at SMK Negeri 2 Palu”. English Education Study Program, Department of Language and Art Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University, under the Supervision of Mukrim, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D and Wahyudin. S.Pd., M.Pd.
The objective of this research was to prove that using Songs of YouTube Videos is effectiveness in improving pronunciation skill of the grade eleventh students at SMK Negeri 2 Palu. This research used a quasi-experimental research design. The sample of the research was 25 students from class XI BDP 1 (Bisnis Daring Pemasaran) as the experimental class and 25 students from class BDP 2 (Bisnis Daring Pemasaran) as the control class. The instruments used in this research were test, pretest and posttest. The result of the data analyzed showed that there is significant difference between the result of the pretest and posttest. The mean score of the pretest of experimental class was 45.2 while the control class was 46.8. After giving the treatment, the mean score of the experimental class in the posttest was 85.4 and the control class was 56.0. By applying 0.05 level of significance, the researcher found that the value of the t-counted (15.1) is higher than t-table (1.67). It means that the use of song of youtube videos is effective in improving pronunciation skill of the grade eleventh students at SMK Negeri 2 Palu.
