Efektivitas Aplikasi U-Dictionary Dalam Meningkatkan Pengucapan Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas Delapan Di SMP Negeri 3 Tinombo Selatan

Magfira (A12119201). This skripsi is entitled “Effectiveness of U-Dictionary Application in Improving English Pronunciation of Eight Grade Students at SMP Negeri 3 Tinombo Selatan." This research was under the supervision of Mukrim and Wahyudin.

This research aims to verify that the use of U-Dictionary application is effective to improve student’s pronunciation ability. The researcher used pre-experimental design. The population of this research was all the students in grade eight. Class VII A was chosen as the sample by using judgment sampling. The mean score of pre-test 1.6 and post-test 6.58. The result of the data analysis showed that the research hypothesis is accepted because the t-counted value of 10.72 is higher than the t-table value of 1.740. In other words, using U-Dictionary application is effective in improving students’ English pronunciation.
