The objective of this research is to determine whether applying Reading Aloud technique is effective to improve the grade X students’ pronunciation of interdental sounds at SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo or not. The researcher applied pre-experimental research design. The research population was the grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo which consisted of 329 students. The sample was selected by cluster sampling technique and it was 30 students of class X IPA 1. The data were collected using a test administered twice; it was in the form of a pre-test and a post-test. The data were analyzed statistically. The results of the data analysis showed that the value of t-counted (9.98) was higher than the value of t-table (1.699) by applying a significance level of 0.05 with a degree of freedom (df) 30 (n-1). It means that the hypothesis was accepted. In other words, applying Reading Aloud Technique can improve students’ pronunciation of interdental sounds at SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo.
