Finding out if the Youtube channel can help SMA Negeri 6 Sigi students in the tenth grade become more proficient in vocabulary is the aim of the study. The subject matter of the study was verbs and nouns. A quasi-experimental design was employed in this study. The material used by the researcher was a YouTube channel. 34 students made up te control group while 34 students made up the experimental group. A test was the tool used to gather research data. Students received two copies of the test: a pre-test and a post-test. A statistical analysis of the data was done. The experimental group of students had a mean score of 9,76 on the pre-test (66) and post-test (76). In contrast, the pre-test (48,32) and post-test (53,88) control groups total 5,52. This indicates that the tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 6 Sigi can significantly increase their abilities by using a YouTube channel as a material.
