Eksplorasi Konsep Fisika Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Pada Pembuatan Batik Bomba Sulawesi Tengah

This research was conducted to explore the concept of physics based on local wisdom found in the manufacture of Central Sulawesi’s Bomba batik. The type of research used is qualitative research using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used in this study uses descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that in the process of making Bomba batik in Central Sulawesi there are physics concepts that can be explored such as measurement, surface tension of water oscillatory motion and capillarity in the yarn dyeing process; measurement, temperature and heat, oscillatory motion, and capillarity in the yarn dyeing process; light waves, changes in the form of matter, and gravitational forces in the process of drying the threads; energy conversion and uniform circular motion in the yarn winding process;rope tension in the process of tying; energy conversion, rope tension and rotational dynamics in the booming process; rope tension in the washing process; as well as mechanical forces, collisions, velocities, and simple machine on the weaving process.
