EVALUASI KESESUAIAN LAHAN UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN TANAMAN KOPI (Cofea Sp) DI DESA TATARI KECAMATAN TOJO BARAT KABUPATEN TOJO UNA-UNA

This study aims to determine the level of land suitability for the development of coffee plants (Cofea sp) in Tatari Village, West Tojo District, Tojo Una-una District. This research was located in Tatari Village, West Tojo District, Tojo Una-una Regency. Analysis of soil physical and soil chemical properties conducted ar the Soil Science Laboratory of the Fculity of Agriculture, University of Tadulako Palu, Central Sulawesi Province was carried out in September 2019 to January 2020. This research was conducted by direct survey method in the filed. This research activity stage, Laboratory analysis, data processing stage and map making. From the results of the analysis of research on land map units (SPL) form the area in Tatari Village (0-12%), the type of soil includes Insectisol, Ultisol dan Oxisol. The average rainfall obtained is 1.833 mm/year. The dry month has an average of 2,4 and a wet month of 7, classified as type A climate (wet month) with land suitability class S1 (appropriate). In the Land Map Unit (SPL) 1 is inculded in the category of actual land suitability classaccording to the mariginal/S3(n) and potential land suitability class is quite appropriate/S2 (r,n). The Land Map Unit (SPL) 2 is inculded in the category of actual land suitability class according to the mariginal/S3 (n) and potential land suitability class is in accordance with the mariginal/S3 (r,n,p). The Land Map Unit (SPL) 3 is inculded in the category of actual land suitability classnot suitable/N2(p) and potential land suitability class is not suitable/N2 (r,n,p). The Land Map Unit (SPL) 4 is inculded in the category of actual land suitability classaccording to the mariginal/S3(p) and potential land suitability class is in accordance with the mariginal/S3 (r,p). In the Land Map Unit (SPL) 5 is inculded in the category of actual land suitability class not suitable/N2(p) and potential land suitability class is not suitable/N2 (r,n,p). In the Land Map Unit (SPL) 6 is inculded in the category of actual land suitability class according to the mariginal/S3(n)and potential land suitability class is in accordance with the mariginal/S3 (o,r,n,e,p).
