The problem of watermelon consumers is inseparable from the problem of price, quantity, consumer tastes, which continue to fluctuate or tend to be unstable, caused by the activity of watermelon consumers where the volume of demand increases but the amount of watermelon supply remains conducive with prices that do not soar, but the availability of watermelon can be more stable in modern markets than in traditional markets.
This research was conducted at Manonda Market, Palu City. In determining the sample size of respondents, researchers can use the Lemeshow formula so that a sample size of 35 respondents was obtained. Data collection in this study used primary data and secondary data. The analysis tool used in this study was multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the price of watermelon, the price of dragon fruit, income, and the number of family dependents simultaneously had a significant effect on the demand for watermelon in Palu City. The price of watermelon partially had a significant effect on the demand for watermelon in Palu City. The price of dragon fruit partially had a significant effect on the demand for watermelon in Palu City. Income partially had a significant effect on the demand for watermelon in Palu City. The number of family dependents partially had a significant effect on the demand for watermelon in Palu City.
