The research problem is, "How are students' learning discipline and students'
achievement, and is there a correlation between student' learning discipline and
students' learning discipline in MAN 1 Palu. This research aims to determine the
correlation between students' learning discipline and students' achievement in
MAN 1 Palu. This research used the qualitative descriptive method. The research
population was 675 students who belonged to 20 classes who studied math. The
proportional random sampling technique was used to determine 150 sample
students. The data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation.
The collected data were analyzed product-moment correlation analysis. The
results of the descriptive analysis indicated that the discipline of students of MAN
1 Palu is 36% or 55 students are very very disciplined, 59% or 89 students are
disciplined, and 5% or six students are less disciplined. The level of learning
achievement of MAN 1 Palu students is 36% or 55 students at a very high level,
59% or 88 students at a high level, and 5% or nine students at a very low level.
The correlation test shows that students' discipline has a positive correlation with
students' achievement.
