The performance of health workers plays an important role in improving public
health status. The main factor affecting the performance of health workers is
motivation at work. At the Sabang Health Center, Dampelas District, there are still
health workers who are still lacking in terms of compensation provided, working
conditions that are not comfortable and a lack of sense of responsibility so that the
performance of health workers is also reduced. This study aims to see the
relationship between responsibility, compensation and working conditions with the
performance of health workers at the Sabang Health Center, Dampelas District.
Type of quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. Sampling using the
total sampling method. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale.
The number of samples was 109 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed
statistically using the Chi Square test. The results of this study indicate that there is
a relationship between responsibility (p=0.000), compensation (p=0.000) and
working conditions (p=0.000) with the performance of health workers at the Sabang
Health Center, Dampelas District. It is hoped that the health center will pay more
attention in terms of providing compensation and comfortable working conditions
such as providing incentives and so on and providing a comfortable place to work
so that health workers are more enthusiastic and motivated at work.
