Gastritis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the mucous layer of the stomach wall.
Based on the Health Profile of Central Sulawesi Province in Palu City, gastritis is one
of the ten most common diseases with an incidence of around 12,316 cases. The
purpose of this study was to determine the relantionship between det,stres,smoking and
the indidance of gastritis in the working area of Birobuli Public helath Center of
research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. This research was
conducted in the Bureau of Public Health Center Work Area. The population in this
study was 138 people. Sampling used a purpusive sample technique. Data collection
uses a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses univariate and bivariate analysis.
The research results show that there is a relationship between diet and the incidence
of gastritis, (? value=0.035) or (?<0 value=0.026) value=0,439)>0.05). Suggestions for the
Birobuli Community Health Center to play a role in informing sufferers to maintain a
good diet to reduce the occurrence of gastritis through counseling.
