Lack of interpersonal intelligence can cause a person to behave in a socially deviant manner. As a result of low interpersonal intelligence can cause children to do verbal bullying. Verbal bullying is harassment or violence using negative words such as insulting, criticizing, mocking, and giving unwanted nicknames. This research aims to identify the correlation between verbal bullying and interpersonal intelligence of fifth-grade students at SDN 8 Mamboro in the 2020/2021 academic year. It is correlational research with a quantitative approach. The research sample was 26 students of fifth grade consisting of 12 male and 14 female students. The main instrument was a questionnaire using the Likert scale. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 for the windows program. Hypothesis testing using SPSS 22.0 product-moment correlation test for windows. The analysis results of interpersonal intelligence and verbal bullying indicated that the fifth-grade students at SDN 8 Mamboro are at the moderate criteria (69.23%) and (80.76%) are respectively. The correlation value is (0.420), which means there is a negative correlation between verbal bullying and interpersonal intelligence. Based on the results, it can be concluded that that is no correlation between verbal bullying and the interpersonal intelligence of fifth-grade students of SDN 8 Mamboro. The higher the interpersonal intelligence, the lower the verbal bullying behavior.
