The objectives of this research are, (1) describing the implementation of unity in diversity to build communal harmony at Kotaraya Induk Village, Mepanga Sub- district, Parigi Moutong Regency. (2) Identifying factors hinder the implementation of unity in diversity to build communal harmony at Kotaraya Induk Village, Mepanga Sub-district, Parigi Moutong Regency. The key informants are the head of the village, religious leaders, and representatives from Javanese, Buginese, and Balinese ethnic groups. It is qualitative descriptive research that collected the data through observations, interviews, and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed in three stages, they were data reduction and concluding. The results indicated that the implementation of unity in diversity to build communal harmony at Kotaraya Induk Village is carried in the form of cooperation to clean the village. Collaboration between religious communities is still maintained, despite the many changes that occur in village life, and the development of villages, but a sense of brotherhood between ethnic groups help maintain communal harmony.
