Abstract

ABSTRACT
Transmigration is the voluntary movement of residents to improve welfare and settle in transmigration development areas or transmigration settlements, as regulated in Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 15 of 1997 concerning transmigration. In Sigi Regency, there are many transmigrants who come from various regions in Indonesia. Prospective transmigrants sometimes found it difficult to find housing if they moved. The problem that is often faced today is that the method of selecting potential recipients of transmigration housing does not have a set standard for having prospective recipients of transmigration shelter facilities. And the system used is still manual based, therefore a computation system is needed that can help the Manpower and Transmigration Office to determine who are potential transmigrants who can receive housing assistance, in a fast and efficient way.
In this study, the authors used the Profile Matching method so that the calculations on the system were more accurate and efficient. Profile Matching method or profile matching is a method that is often used as a mechanism in decision making by assuming that there are levels of ideal predictor variables that must be met by the subject under study. In the Profile Matching process, in general, it is a process of comparing the actual value of a profile to be assessed with the expected profile value, so that the difference in competence can be seen (also called the gap), the smaller the resulting gap, the greater the weight of the value means that it has a big chance. to be recommended to be selected. In this study, 14 criteria and 299 alternatives were used with the result that the alternative with the name Ambo Adolof Boy got the largest final score of 5.68 and the candidate alternative with the name Moh.Saleh got the smallest final score, namely 4.325714. The longest computation time was obtained when processing 255 data which was 1.8394 seconds and the fastest was when processing 15 data which was 0.3419 seconds. The most memory usage is when processing 299 data, which uses 663.73 kb of memory and the least is when processing 15 data, which uses 230.05 kb of memory
