Abstract

ABSTRACT
Construction Safety Management System (CSMS) is something that must be done in every construction project as a protection system for workers to avoid work accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to control work accidents considering that the construction sector is one of the largest contributors to the accident rate. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the construction safety management system (SMKK) in the construction and handling of the embankment of the squid road (coast area) in Palu City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were 66 workers of the Palu City squid road reconstruction project. Data on this study were obtained through filling out questionnaires. Then, data processing using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). The results showed that based on the results of the calculations carried out, namely about the implementation of the safety management system (SMKK) on the reconstruction work and handling of the squid road embankment (coast area) of Palu City, which is well implemented. This can be seen from the RRI results of several sub-factors with the highest value of 0.97 and the lowest value of 0.55.
