Medicinal plants are plant species that are known and believed by the public to have medicinal properties and have been used as raw materials for traditional medicines. The purpose of this research was to determine the types of medicinal plants in Surumana Village, South Banawa District, Donggala Regency and make teaching materials in the form of pocket books. The research has been conducted from February 2021 to March 2021. The method used is a descriptive method with field observations, documentation, interviews with informants. Descriptive data analysis by presenting data in the form of a table of pictures/photos and a description of the identity of the plant, the parts used, processing methods, and their medicinal properties. The results of this study found medicinal plant species consisting of 14 families and 23 genera which were divided into 25 species wich were used in traditional medicine. The results of the validation of learning media in the form of pocket books were obtained, namely 69,72% with eligible criteria to be recommended as one of the media that can be used as a reference for learning resources.
