KARAKTERISTIK MORFOLOGI DAN ANATOMI PISANG RAJA (Musa Paradisiaca L.) DI TIGA KABUPATEN DI SULAWESI TENGAH

The study aims to examine the morphological and anatomical characteristics of the plantain in Donggala, Sigi and Parigi Moutong Regencies. This research was conducted in September to December 2019. The method used was exploration of banana plants by observing the morphological characters of banana plants followed by anatomical characters and analyzed using cluster analysis. The results showed that there were differences in the morphological and anatomical characteristics of the plantain that there were four groups of selected accessions, namely the accession of plantain king Sidondo 1, Sidondo 6, Sidondo 4 and Saloya 4. The distinguishing morphological characters were leaf pattern, 3rd stem channel shape, the length of the petiole, the shape of the tip of the heart, the number of fruits, the density of the stomata, and the number of stomata.
