KAWASAN WISATA WAHANA AIR ( WATERPARK ) DI KOTA PALU

This research is motivated by the construction phase of Palu City after
the earthquake in 2018, one of which is a tourist spot. Relating to a potential
source of income and playing an important role in the regional economic growth
of Palu City. Thus, the tourism sector is a priority object of regional development.
Therefore, Palu City requires the development of a tourist area that focuses on
water parks related to water as its main object.
The research method uses architectural design methods, the method
applied is to design based on how a tourist spot has a water ride. Going through
the stages of what rides are in water tourism, how they function and then the
results. Obtained game rides that will be applied as well as the condition of the
tourist area in accordance with its designation.
Water Tourism Area (Waterpark), as a tourist spot that has large-scale
water games and bathing facilities in Palu City. Can support the growth of the
tourism sector and provide a forum for the public and tourists to enjoy the
atmosphere of water tourism in Palu City.
