Keanekaragaman Jenis Burung Air Di Sekitar Danau Rano Kecamatan Balaesang Tanjung Kabupaten Donggala

In Indonesia there are 1,539 types of birds found and 381 of them are endemic to Indonesia. Around 250 species of birds are the largest endemic to the Wallacea Region. The Wallacea region includes Sulawesi Island and surrounding islands, including the Banggai Islands, Sula Islands, Nusa Tenggara Islands and Maluku Islands. Rano Lake, located in Rano Village, Balaesang Tanjung District, is a habitat for water bird species. This research aims to determine species diversity, species evenness and dominance of waterbird species around Lake Rano. This research uses a path transect data collection method and is analyzed using the Shanon diversity index, evenness index and dominance index. Based on these results and research, it is known that the diversity index of water bird species around Lake Rano is H'= 1,867, the evenness index of water bird species is (E) 0.85 and there are 5 bird species in the dominant category, 1 bird species in the subdominant category. , and 3 types of birds in the non-dominant category.
