Keanekaragaman Makrofauna Tanah Di Bawah Tegakan Karet (hevea Brasiliensis. Muell.Arg) Di Desa Polando Jaya Kecamatan Rio Pakava Kabupaten Donggala

Soil macrofauna activity is very influential in improving soil function in forests by accelerating the
decomposition of organic material thereby adding nutrients and maintaining soil fertility
of course, to
maintain biodiversity in the soil, a place to live and a food source for the soil macrofauna is needed.
Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the diversity of soil macrofauna types found
under rubber stands (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.Arg) in Polando jaya, Java District. Donggala.
This
research was carried out for two months from June 2023 to August 2023. Soil macrofauna sampling
was carried out on 19 year old Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.Arg) stands in Polando Jaya Village,
Kec. Rio Pakava, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. Identification of macrofauna types was
carried out at the Pest Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University Sampling was
carried out under a 19 year old rubber stand with a land area of 10,000 m2 and a plant spacing of
5×5 m. Soil macrofauna sampling was carried out using a litter bag.
The results of this research
show that there are 21 types of macrofauna found under rubber stands the number of species in the
valley is higher, namely 18 species (58 individuals), compared to at the peak, namely only 13 species
(27 individuals)The soil macrofauna diversity index found under rubber stands (Hevea brasiliensis
Muell.Arg) is 1.1990, which means the soil macrofauna diversity index is considered moderate
