KEMAMPUAN SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 2 SINDUE DALAM MENULIS TEKS PERSUASI MELALUI MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING

The problem of this research: how is the ability of the student in writing persuasive text through discovery learning model of IX grade of SMP Negeri 2 Sindue? This research aims to describe the result of students’ ability in writing persuasion text through discovery learning model at IX grade of SMP Negeri 2 Sindue in academic 2019/2020. Subject of this research was 20 student,s 2 of them are unable to attend. The evaluation result is obtained through individual, completed. It show that 13 students achieved and 5 students unachieved. Furthermore, the acquisition of an average value is 77. Based on statistical analysis data of completeness, it is 72.22%. It means that the ability of whole students of IX grade of SMP Negeri 2 Sindue can be categorized as goog in writing persuasive text through discovery learning model.
