KESIAPAN MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGELOLAN HUTAN KEMASYARAKATAN DI DESA LENDE KECAMATAN SIRENJA KABUPATEN DONGGALA

The success of a community in managing forest resources is largely determined by the readiness of the community and support from the government. This study aims to describe the readiness of the community in Community Forest Management in Lende Village, Sirenja District, Donggala Regency.
This research was carried out for two months, from September to October 2019, which was located in the Lende Community Forest, Sirenja District, Donggala Regency. The research method was carried out using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was done by purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using the CAR method by determining the priority of the problem if the available data were qualitative data. This is done by determining a score on certain criteria, namely capability, accessibility, and readiness.
The results of this study indicate that the readiness of the Lende Village community in managing HKm is classified as less understanding. The understanding and willingness of the community is still lacking with a score of (62) and (65). Factors that influence the lack of understanding and public willingness are education, socialization, access to capital and marketing. Unlike the people of Lende Village, they are enthusiastic and motivated in managing HKm which is classified as high with a score (94). Lack of understanding and readiness so that the Lende Village Community also really needs support from the government, especially assistance to the community, sustainable counseling and lack of funding sources.
